Mwangi, who was speaking on Wednesday when he launched the new public forum office in his ward, said that Kiambu has been losing leaders in a very mysterious way and there is need to give the security of the leaders a priority.

He said that disappearance of the Juja MCA which comes after the loss of the Kabete MP George Muchai is shocking and it should be probed keenly and the perpetrators prosecuted.

He said that the newly sworn in police boss should act on the matter faster now that he is assuming office and show the people that he is credible and legible for the post.

Mwangi has cautioned anyone involved in the mysterious disapperance of the Kiambu ward representative, saying they will not rest until the MCA is found.

“If you think that by kidnapping Kitata you are stopping us, we are strong and will work to advocate for the people’s rights. I will not be silenced until my fellow leader is found,” Mwangi said.

He has refuted any allegations and claims that the kidnap is political and said that no one should be speculating on the same.
