Naivasha East Ward Representative Samuel Waithuki wants leaders in the county to stop the talk and work for the people.
Speaking after a tour of his ward on Wednesday, Waithuki said that Kenyans are tired of empty talks, urging leaders that it is time to act and deliver to the electorate.
“I would like to advise my fellow leaders to act on the promises they made to the people, it is high time that we delivered quality services,” he said.
The MCA, who is also the county majority leader said that locals deserve to get better services, further urging the county government to fast-track projects that will directly benefit the people.
He said that leaders have the responsibility to make sure that people’s issues are tackled, saying that uniting people across the county was key in development.
Waithuki said that the county is a cosmopolitan, and that leaders should be on the frontline in agitating for peace.
The MCA promised to rally his fellow MCAs and other leaders in the county to pass laws that will protect the interest of locals.
