The MCA responded after concerns that he left out a group of people form Kiandutu and Kianjau who were starving too.

Mwangi said that he was concerned with the well being of his people and that he would ensure they live a better life. He said that despite the challenges he was facing he would try to facilitate their relief food.

Speaking in his office when he disbursed the relief food this morning, the legislator said that the people in his area have been overfeeding despite it being a hard time for the country where the rains have been little, and that they were ‘forgetting the tomorrows’.

“Please let’s not overeat yet. We do not have enough food. How do you eat as if you have full stores yet you harvested nothing last season? We have to check on our feeding habits to survive and fit in all the environments,” he said.

The lawmaker has added that he will sensitize the residents on the importance of the saving plan to ensure they are not affected harshly by the drought and famine that has been the biggest problem among the people of the areas.
