Ruiru sub-county’s Biashara ward MCA Joe Mutuga has called on his counterparts to join hands instead of politicking every Development project meant to help Kiambu residents.
The MCA who termed such acts as childish and lack of vision by those individuals to serve the people of Kiambu, expressed his concerns that a section of leaders are busy criticising William Kabogo over allegations that he said had no grounds and evidence to prove their accusation.
“Some people move around spreading rumours that Governor Kabogo has embezzled public funds, why should they not go to court and table the evidence they have?,” wondered Mutuga.
Mutuga claimed that some leaders have prioritised their mission to impeach the county boss instead of working and serving the people who elected them to office.
The MCA claimed that Kabogo’s work is evident and people could see the county’s achievement citing the recent establishment of General Kago Morgue and Brigadiers who received training in outside country to serve the people of Kiambu.
He also lauded Kabogo for not being irrational in attacking his enemies referring to Kabogo as a leader with good ideological power, control and act of leadership.
Mutuga claimed that Kiambu is rated as the best county in procurement adding that all those were because of the good governance of Governor Kabogo whom, according to Mutuga, mobilises his team to work and achieve the manifesto set during the campaign period.
Mutuga who was speaking in his office early today, however promised to support the governor in his journey to make Kiambu County better.
