Carolyne Ogot said fighting is a 'natural reaction' and Ms Gwendo should be spared of all the criticism after a video footage of her fighting with her secretary was circulated on social media.

The footage which leaked last week showed Gwendo clash with her secretary, with the nominated Senator instructing the Secretary to get out of her office.

The adamant Secretary could be heard resisting the push to get out, and instead chose to stand her ground that she was not worth being pushed out by the Senator.

At one point the Secretary could be heard shouting Gwendo to stop hitting her with shoes and cursing the Senator.

In response to her actions, as published in a section of the media, Gwendo defended her move and instead accused the lady of attacking her and refusing to vacate her office after firing her.

The incident drew a lot of criticism on social media with Kenyans expressing anger over the conduct of Gwendo, a public figure.

However, the nominated MCA saw no harm in Gwendo's actions, saying all human beings have moments when they become angry and it is natural to react in such a manner.

"I can hear all noises, groans, whispers about Senator Gwendo's natural reaction. We all have our moments and when am angry I react how a reaction in that manner ought to be," Ms Ogot wrote on her facebook wall.

She continued: "I will throw all. Stones, plates, shoes, hugs, tears, apologies depending on how I am pushed, because that's how its supposed to. I don't want to die of pressure because of sijui decorum akia ang'ono (and what have you). Let's be real yawa (people)."
