Acting education CS Fred Matiangi. [Photo/Standard.]A Kisii County MCA has asked Acting education Cs Fred Matiang’I to explain why KCSE results for 204 candidates in his ward were canceled.
Magenche ward MCA Timothy Ogugu was speaking on Saturday in his ward.
“It is painful to cancel exam results for 204 students yet parents had invested too much money to pay school fees. Matiang’I should come out and explain why the ministry of education and KNEC canceled the results,” he said.
Ogugu said the results should be released for the learners to proceed to high learning institutions to further their studies.
“We will not accept Matiang’I and his team to cut short the dreams of learners. What we are demanding is the release of the results for the students to proceed to various colleges,” he added.
