Lakeview MCA Wanyoike Wanango has dismissed Bahati MP's claims that there is Mungiki in Nakuru County.
Wanango has termed Ngunjiri's claims as reckless and careless and now wants him to apologise to Nakuru youths who are likely to fall victims if Police launches a crackdown.
"He is instilling fear even to potential investors. As a leader, Kimani should have thought the impact of his words,” said Wanango.
The MCA has said Ngunjiri's assertions portray hatred to the 'hardworking' youths of Nakuru and warned him against using such utterances.
"He must desist from such careless talks that may end up bringing disharmony among the communities living here. He must apologise to all Nakuru residents," added Wanango.
Wanango asked Ngunjiri to work towards bringing youths together through gainful activities rather than labeling them as criminals.
