A female Siaya County MCA has denied sharing her nude photos in a WhatsApp group.
Rosemary Ogutu has instead blamed certain politicians for her misfortunes.
The Ford Kenya nominated MCA recently shocked the ‘Siaya County Forum’ WhatsApp group, where she is the administrator, by posting pictures of herself in a ‘birthday suit.’
Rosemary claims her opponents are working hard to bring her down, since she had declared interest in vying for Alego Usonga MP seat.
Nude photos of the MCA cuddling her breasts and smiling went round on social media.
“I want to say these pictures are seemingly photoshoped and are directed at character assassination, but I want to believe that my political opponents are behind it. I want to say the direction these people have taken with my private life will not deter me from the journey I have taken in Alego Usonga,” said Rosemary.
She said the last post she made in the WhatsApp group was when Siaya Senator James Orengo was addressing the delegates.
"After posting that picture, a friend called, inquiring if I was aware of what was happening in the WhatsApp group. I quickly checked the group, only to be greeted with my ‘naked’ image, posted by my own cell phone number."
She has since reported the matter to the Police for investigations.
