Ijara ward MCA, Mohamed Abdullahi has faulted Governor Nathif Jama over the latest cabinet reshuffle.
Abdullahi said the changes are untimely and inconsequential.
"The recent changes are inconsequential. Jama should address the root causes of the problems facing his county administration rather than doing the unnecessary," he stated.
Jama in his new cabinet, appointed Ahmed Aden, the Finance CEC to take over the environment docket that had gone for a couple of months without a minister. The deputy governor has assumed the post of Finance CEC after Ahmed's exit.
The finance docket has over the past three years featured four individuals with Ahmed Aden being the CEC having the shortest office span in the docket.
The changes come at the wake of time when the county government was criticised by a number of high profile politicians including Senator Yussuf Haji over stalled service delivery.
It is only a week ago that hired contractors camped at the county offices to demand for their dues having completed their tenders.
