Basi Bogetaori Ward MCA Boniface Okenye has been accused of slapping a nurse four times.
According to a local news site, Kenyas.co.ke, the MCA slapped the nurse after a short verbal exchange.
The victim, Beatrice Omutiti claims that Okenye slapped her four times after she failed to accord him 'good' reception at Oresi Health Centre.
She said: “Okenye abused me and slapped me for not treating him the way he would have loved, like an MCA.”
Omutiti said she failed to respond to the MCA's three knocks because she was attending to patient.
This infuriated Mr Okenye who she claims slapped her four times.
“He (the MCA) had a patient who was in labour. He called me names; a prostitute, dog, lazy worker and referred to me by my tribe. He threatened to call the Minister for Health which he did. He then gave me the phone. I explained everything to the minister,” Omutiti added.
The fourth slap, she claims, sent her to the ground.
Fredrick Oigo who chairs The Nurses Association in the county has now threatened to call for protests against the MCA.
Kisii Central OCPD Francis Nguli assured the victim that justice will be served.
Okenye is not new to controversy.
He is facing assault charges for threatening to shoot his wife over infidelity allegations.
