A Mombasa MCA has blamed Governor Hassan Joho for the attempted sacking of county Speaker Thadius Rajwayi.
Junda MCA Paul Onje claims that the county boss has been frustrating the speaker after he refused to dance to his political tune.
Onje said Rajwayi’s disobedience to the governor was the beginning of his political woes.
“Rajwayi was appointed by Joho. What led to the sack bid was his disobedience to his boss. If you are given any job and you fail to obey then there is disruption,” said Onje, as quoted by The Star.
Last year, a section of MCA’s in the assembly clashed after Rajwayi refused to relinquish his current position.
The speaker went on to seek orders from the court in a bid to stop the motion meant to sack him.
Tudor MCA Patrick Simiyu tabled the motion that was signed by other 15 MCAs demanding the sacking of Rajwayi.
A few weeks ago, a section of MCAs from the Luo Community accused he governor for sidelining them, after allegedly engineered their removal from different committees in the house.
