Riana ward MCA Moisabi Ariemba has been lauded for commissioning upgrade works on Iyabe - Etureti - Bonyancha road in Bonchari constituency.

While speaking at Bomokora area on Sunday, the MCA commissioned the construction works residents said the transport on the road will better for motorists.

"We have several traders operating from Riana to Suneka, Daraja Mbili, and Migori markets. Upgrading the roads will make transport of goods to the market easy to ensure traders arrive at the market in time to make sales," said Devis Oyaro.

Oyaro urged Ariemba to give a deaf ear to critics who may be out to delay development plans in the ward.

Another resident John Mogaka urged locals to give the MCA humble to deliver.

"It is just a few months since we finished politics but our MCA has started by commissioning the construction of Iyabe -Etureti -Bonyancha road. Opponents who have been going around spreading propaganda that Ariemba won't perform should keep off and wait until 2022," said Mogaka.
