Waichere during the launch said that he will make sure that the area residents find it easy when transporting their products to the market and to the grass roots unlike it has been before when they could take quite some time covering short distances due to poor road conditions.

He added that infrastructure and technology are his major sites at the moment and he will ensure that the residents have better roads.

“I promised to improve on the area infrastructure and that is what I am doing at the moment and more of such projects are to come as plans are underway to support them in all ways possible,” said MCA Waichere.

The roads are expected to be used by heavy commercial vehicles which transport building materials, relief food and also other products to the interior parts of the Ward which are considered a semi-arid area.

Following the lunch, the area residents have lauded their MCA for the good and the fulfilling of his campaign promises.

The area MCA has been decrying to Kiambu County government to support the residents with irrigation projects to ease the danger of drought which, according to him, has never been taken seriously by anyone.

Meanwhile, MCA Waichere also lauded the youth in his Ward for the positive behaviour and reaction towards the ongoing Youth Empowerment Programme in the county adding that the area youth turned out in huge numbers and conducted the training in the most appropriate way possible saying he was delighted with them.
