Kiganjo MCA Samuel Mwarage has a case to answer after being accused of having relations with a married woman.
Mwarage, however, said the woman lured him to her house where he found three armed thugs who robbed him of Sh53,000.
The MCA appeared in a Kiambu County court on Thursday where he explained his ordeal.
Mwarage stated that he had been in a meeting with the lady whom he identified as Catherine Wanjiku who convinced him to change the location of the meeting to her house.
On arrival, Mwarage said a woman and two men appeared from nowhere and ambushed him.
"It is tormenting. The accused offered to show me samples of dresses she had that I could sell at a boutique I own," he said.
The MCA went on to further explain that the thugs ordered him and Ms. Wanjiku to go to the bedroom and undress.
"I was beaten and scratched with the panga on my back, and cut on my right hand while trying to block them," he said.
Mwarage said that he was later separated from Ms. Wanjiku and taken to the living room where the thugs ordered he give them Sh100,000. He stated that they threatened to cut off his genitals if he did not give them the cash.
The MCA handed the number of one of his friends who was able to pay the money needed and he was then taken to the destination where the exchange would be made. He added that at that time, Ms.Wanjiku was left in the house.
During the ordeal, he was able to spot constructors in the area and called out for help leading to the robbers escaping.
The ward representative went on to report the incident to Kiambu police station.
Ms. Wanjiku was then arrested but denied charges of robbery with violence and was released on a Sh500,000.
