Emma Mbugua, who represents persons living with disabilities in the assembly said they are in full support of the IEBC and asked its commissioners not to be moved by the Cord protests.

Addressing the press at a Nakuru hotel, Mbugua said as PLWDs, they see nothing wrong with the current commissioners and termed calls for them to quit as ill-advised.

“As persons living with disabilities we are rallying behind the IEBC and telling the commissioners to not to quit and to stay put until their term is over,” said Mbugua.

“We see nothing wrong with the IEBC and they have not committed any crime and therefore calls for them to quit are misadvised and ill informed,” she added.
