A Member of County Assembly in Nyeri has urged his female colleagues to stop wearing mini-skirts during House sessions.

The Karatina Ward MCA, identified as Watson Mburungo informed the Assembly Speaker John Kaguchia on Wednesday that he and his male colleagues were unable to concentrate during House Business because of skimpy dressing by the females.

Mburungo wanted the Speaker to advise on mode of dressing in the House, claiming that mini-skirts worn by the women MCAs were distracting them.

“Some of us cannot concentrate as we sit across our female MCAs. Kindly, advise us on the mode of dressing,” he said.

“It is difficult for some of us to concentrate when our counterparts are in miniskirts,” he added as the House burst into laughter.

However, the Speaker dismissed the MCA saying that he was out of order.
