Moindi speaking on Monday at Isamwera, said he will use his own money to pay for transport for the students going to far schools.
"I have offered to provide free transport to students. Parents should give the names of the students traveling starting Tuesday, January 2, 2018, to various schools for transport preparations to be made," he said.
The ward rep noted that he is committed to ensuring education standards in the ward is improved.
"Many parents will struggle to have their children report back to school. The burden of looking for transport has been catered for as a way to motivate parents to have their children enroll in schools," he noted.
He added that the program will run at the start of every term.
He urged opponents to join him to ensure needy and bright children from the ward does not drop out of school due to lack school fees.
