A Nakuru Member of County Assembly has refuted claims that he has interest in the controversial management of the Mashambani Public Toilet within the Nakuru’s CBD.
Adressing media in his office on Wednesday afternoon, Biashara ward MCA Stephen Kuria dismissed the claims.
“I have no interest politically in the management of the Mashambani Public toilet as a section of individuals purport. The Public Entertainment and Amenities act 2014 passed by the county assembly is very clear and it was followed to the latter in entering the MoU,” said Kuria.
He said any document that was signed by the Municipal Clerk or the Mayor of the former regime is null and avoid since the law gave three years of transition.
