Bogichora MCA Beuttah Omanga believes that Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire will influence the Nyamira County gubernatorial race in the 2017 polls.
The vocal MP has risen ranks within the ODM and is the national treasurer. He has also been a fierce critic of the Jubilee government.
And now Omanga, lauded the MP’s stand on social-economic and political issues predicting his ‘overwhelming’ impact on the voting patterns in future.
“Bosire has been very consistent when it comes to fighting for social equity and the message has been received well by residents. He is a self-made politician and always focuses on achieving greater things,” Omanga said.
“He is going to determine the voting patterns especially for the gubernatorial race given the overwhelming support he enjoys among the Nyamirans. I am pretty sure of that and all I can say is that it's time for people take him seriously,” he said.
On Wednesday, Bosire assured residents of remaining neutral in the gubernatorial race as he awaits the Orange party to conduct its primaries.
The incumbent, Governor John Nyagarama and West Mugirango MP James Gesami are expected to face off in 2017 for the ODM ticket.
