Manga Ward MCA Enock Okero Ogori has asked police officers to intensify patrols in the region to curb crime.
The MCA said residents have been losing property to clean criminals but police have failed to arrest them.
"We have criminals well known in Manga but police officers are doing a slow job. I want to see criminals out of Manga so that my people can invest well in businesses and have more investors coming to Manga," he said.
Ogori urged locals not to harass tourists who tours Manga hills because the visitors have the freedom of expression as long as they don't cause mayhem.
"Manga hills is free for local people and foreigners to tour. The local community should not in any way be involved in demanding for bribes from the visitors. Police should be vigilant to arrest anyone demanding for bribes and harassing visitors," said the ward rep.
Area police boss James Musyimi reached for a comment said police are doing everything possible to end crime in the area.
The police boss said visitors Manga hills will be investigated to ensure no criminal pretends to visit the hills to rob other people.
