Speaking at Naivasha Town yesterday, Wanango said that Mututho has no business in matters touching county leadership.

He took issue with Mututho’s assertions that Nakuru's leadership is performing poorly.

“While Mututho has a right to his opinion, he has no right to speak ill of the county where he hails from,” said Wanango.

Wanango told Mututho to provide the leadership he thinks is good instead of discrediting and tarnishing the county government.

He said that as a leader from the county, Mututho should seek dialogue with the government instead of publicly discrediting it.

The Lake View MCA also accused the National Campaign against Drug Abuse (Nacada) chair of starting early campaigns sayong that Mututho's declaration of interest in Nakuru’s gubernatorial seat was premature.

Wanango asked Mututho to focus on his job after Mututho hinted that he will contest for the Nakuru governor seat in 2017.
