Speaking in his ward on Monday, Maroro said insecurity has been on the rise in Manga, Magombo and Bogichora wards and urged residents to report people they suspect in their midst so that action can be taken against them.

“If we need to end insecurity in this county, residents must work with the police. If you suspect any person please report them to the police station so that the officer commence investigations,” said Maroro.

The ward rep said residents of Manga and Magombo wards were Monday terrorised by an unknown gang and some even lost their properties in the incident.

He challenged the police officers to ensure they secure the area stating that residents are now living in fear.

“We have police officers in our county try to provide security in this county so that residents not to live in fear,” he added
