A Nyamira Member of County Assembly now threatens to build President Donald Trump's like wall along Nyamira, Bomet and Narok border as a remedy to perennial cattle rustling.
Joseph Ondari or Esise ward, says the wall, which he is due to propose to the assembly, would enable locals monitor cattle thieves in the region.
"My people have cried a lot even before devolution and this is the perfect time to end this menace. I am thinking of a perimeter wall across the ward," he said.
Conspiculosly, many prominent people live in the region among them Acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, who in a number of occasions attended public Barazas over the menace.
And even in defiance, Ondari says, cattle rustlers at some point stole hours after being warned by Matiang'i.
"These people stole cattle at a certain Friday even after Matiang'i warned them. We must find a lasting solution to this menace."

Cattle rustling predicament has been a source of conflict among communities living in the notorious Nyamira, Bomet and Transamara borders.
