Kepha Mogaka, who won under the Jubilee ticket promised to rehabilitate all the feeder roads, ensure clean piped water as well as maintaining sewage.

Nine months later, no major development has been done.Burst sewage has been a menace in these areas as they have caused major pollutions in the streams.

Regardless of the water shortages in Kisii, burst water pipes are evident in Mwembe which has led to chronic water wastages.

The feeder roads have been in a dilapidated state for quite some time now with no major rehabilitation. This has made transport impassible and expensive.

"If you check our roads, you can see how our leader has neglected his people. The roads are impassable now. He should just quit office," said Ondicho, a resident of Mwembe.

"Our streets lights are only in towns but we have none in the mashinani. The mast lights are not working at all," said Mokerira, a business woman at Daraja Mbili market.

"Our MCA should just resign. We need a serious guy for that post," said Onyancha, a resident at Jogoo.

Speaking on phone on Wednesday, Mogaka said he is confident that all his pre-election pledges will be worked on.

"I know am yet to fulfill what I had promised. This is because funds have not been allocated to us due to delay in disbursement. All the residents' concerns are at heart and i know I will keep my words," said Kepha.

Water shortage and sewage menace have been the major challenges in these areas.
