Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua has urged members of the County Assembly (MCAs) across the county to implement development projects in their respective wards.

The Governor said that MCAs are the eyes of the government in the wards and they should support development.

Mbugua noted that the government is keen to promote development across all wards in the county.

The Governor stated that his government will not discriminate against any ward and that projects would be commissioned across the wards.

“I want to ask MCAs to work with my government to streamline development in all wards,” he said.

Mbugua who addressed the media at county headquarters yesterday said he will work with leaders who are development oriented.

Mbugua asserted that he will not be derailed by leaders or people who are do not value development.

The County governor expressed satisfaction on what the government has achieved noting that many projects have been commissioned.

“I am determined to improve the living standards on Nakuru people,” he said.

Mbugua asked county leaders to be steadfast and work towards development. He said there is much to be done in the remaining two years before the 2017 General election.

The governor also appealed to residents to be calm as his government works out modalities of development.

He asked youths and women to be active and seek development funds from both the national and the county government.
