Kisii county assembly will be without the leader of majority and minority after the members of the assembly voted them out with on a vote of no confidence.
It was Tabitha Okong’o ODM nominated MCA who presented the motion of no confidence to the two.
Protus Moindi leader of majority and Daniel Apepo minority leader were kicked out for not representing them well, she challenged the two to step aside and new members to be selected who can represent them well.
During presenting of the motion Tabitha said that the two have failed the members of the county assembly more so in their health insurance cover and during the employment of workers in the county as they represent MCAs on the service board.
Among the members of the assembly who supported the motion was Aboko Pius from Kiogoro ward who said that they need leaders who always represent them well in the county without having personal interests.
George Bibao from Bokimonge ward also supported the motion by saying that they need responsible leaders in the house.
After the Speaker Kerosi Ondieki gave out the ruling the two parties ODM and Jubilee were given one week to present new leaders to the house within one week.
