Law enforcement officers have started investigations into the theft of laptops and phones belonging to Nairobi County MCA at a Mombasa hotel.The MCAs were attending a conference at the hotel when the incident happened.An unidentified MCA told a leading newspaper that four laptops and four phones had been stolen.The MCAs highly suspect that the theft was an inside job as it would be impossible for an outsider to have the confidence to enter the hotel and pull off a theft.“We suspect it was an inside job as the hotel is well-guarded and it is not easy for one to just get in and pick up items.” the MCA said according to the Daily Nation newspaper.The police have said that they are closely working with the management of the Sai Roc hotel to establish the identities of the dare-devil thieves.
