Two Kisumu County Assembly MCAs have lauded the speech by Governor Jack Ranguma during the opening of the assembly.
Nyalenda B Ward representative James Were said the Governor’s speech covered most of the areas that have been left untouched.
Were said the speech was perfect in outlining some of the projects that have been completed, and some that are still ongoing.
“I am happy with the speech since it addressed all the developments in the county,” he said.
He added that he was happy the Governor touched on de-silting of some rivers in his ward that normally causes flooding.
South West Kisumu Ward representative Joseph Abiola said he was impressed by the speech, adding that it portrayed what is on the ground and the locals can confirm.
“Go to the ground and you will find out exactly what the Governor has said, all the noise that you hear around is only aimed at diverting attention from the good work the governor has been doing” he said.
Abiola added that the Governor is ready to work for the people of Kisumu, and called upon his colleagues to give him total support.
