MCAs in Kisumu are said to be planning to go for a retreat where they will reconcile with County Assembly Speaker Ann Adul.
The Naivasha retreat according to sources aims at helping the MCAs mend fences with Ms Adul who recently resumed her duties at the County Assembly as Speaker.
A section of the MCAs were accused of orchestrating the scandal that saw Adul forcefully thrown out of the Assembly.
Adul returned to work after a Court in Kisumu threw out a case in which she had been implicated in a Sh17.4 million supply tender scandal at the County Assembly.
By the time of publication of this story the venue for the event was still unknown.
Nyakach Central MCA Elijah Omondi told the Assembly before it broke off for recess that reconciliation was important as it would allow elected leaders work without suspicion.
Adul was in 2015 thrown out of the Assembly after the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission dragged her to court over the 'irregular' award of a tender in the House.
Three other people at the County Assembly who had been charged with her were freed.
