Nyamira MCAs allied to NASA have pledged to give Raila Odinga gift by passing the controversial People's Assembly Bill.
For months now, Nyamira County has not passed the Bill despite the National Coordinating Committee confirming sending a draft to the county.
But through Leader of Majority Duke Masira, the MCAs denied abandoning the course, adding that it shall be passed once they come from recess.
"We must give a gift to our leader Raila and that will be passing the Peoples' Assembly Bill.
"Those claiming that we are in Jubilee are misleading the public. We remain committed to our party and coalition," he said.
Both Nyamira and Kisii Counties, despite being predominantly NASA, they are yet to pass the bill which would pave way for Raila's swearing-in.
On Monday at Bondo, Raila insisted that his plans to take the oath of office remain despite pressure to drop the bid.
