Former MCA's from Kisii County Assembly have now threatened to go to the Supreme Court to appeal a judgment made my high court that will lead to all former MCA's who served between years 2013 to 2017 lose 8 billion.
Led by former Riana ward Mca Philip Motonu the MCA's said that the high court judge didn't consider many factors of which they will list down once they launch their case.
Speaking during a press conference in Kisii on Tuesday the MCA's said their tenure was cut short by IEBC after holding August 8 elections before the expiry of their constitutional term of five years.
"We will go to supreme court to overturn the decision of Judge Daniel Musinga that will see MCA's lose millions of money and we know salary remuneration commission is aware that we are guaranteed our money," said Motonu.
Their appeal come at a time the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) and the Attorney-General lodged the appeal against the High Court decision in April for the MCA's to be paid their salaries despite the fact they were not in office.
