Machakos Governor Dr Alfred Mutua has assured party aspirants seeking Maendeleo Chap Chap (MCC) party ticket of fair and transparent nominations.
According to Mutua, the party has clear procedures and guidelines that will guarantee fair and transparent nominations.
The Machakos governor said that MCC is the only party that had a clear agenda for Kenyans.
“We are encouraging political aspirants seeking elective seats to contest on MCC party because our nominations will be free and fair,” he said as quoted by the Star
Governor Mutua said that his party is keen to push the country’s development agenda forward.
He said that the party will soon unveil its manifesto ahead of the August 8 polls.
“Our focus as a party is to make sure that development is scaled out to all corners of the country,” he said.
Mutua’s party recently received President Uhuru Kenyatta’s key allies who decamped from Jubilee Party.
According to political analysts, smaller parties will benefit more from expected massive defections in larger parties ahead of the party nominations scheduled for between April and May this year.
