Mcheza betting company was on Tuesday taken to task by its fans over the amount of cash that was awarded to jackpot bonus winners.

Social media was full of public outrage with gamblers expressing their dissatisfaction by being awarded little amount of money as prices for bonuses after trying out last weekend’s jackpot and managing 10/13, 11/13, or 12/13 correct matches.

Many of those who took to Facebook to express their anguish went ahead to threaten of their plans to withdraw their loyalty from the company to its rivals:

"Kwani pesa ya jackpot mlideposit CHASE BANK??? Mcheza mlitucheza jana sio poa,’’ wrote Krs-one Di Streetz Geniuz.

Mcheza digital team were, however, quick to explain the reason behind the meager prices given to the trialists citing big numbers of winners as the factor.

"These amounts are due to the huge number of winners in each category. In general, we had close to 7000 jackpot bonus winners and we celebrate every one of them," wrote Mcheza.

In a quick rejoinder, some fans disputed the reasons given with some claiming that the company has 2000 users.

Mega Wati wrote, "They say 7000 people got 10/13 but they have less than 2000 users."

"Tell that to the birds. I wish all the subscribers had won and paid 453," wrote Chemengewa Kericho.

The full Jackpot of sh21, 448,629 was jointly won by two participants who were on Tuesday awarded with cheques of sh.10, 724,314 each at the Norfolk Hotel.
