Cord leader Raila Odinga has accused the media of spreading wrong news insinuating that the coalition is about to break up.
Odinga who was speaking in Kilifi on Wednesday stated that the media was blowing the matter out of proportion.
‘’The newspapers are daily saying that the Cord coalition is falling apart when it is actually not, I want to tell them that that will not happen," he said.
Odinga further assured his supporters that the coalition is steady and will not break up soon.
‘’Cord is like a house with many rooms, in this case, the house is the coalition and the rooms are ODM, Wiper, and Ford-K, and all the room heads are competing for the house leadership,we will just decide on one leader when the time comes,’’he said
This comes at a time when the coalition is facing a possible break up with the with other co-principal called on Odinga to shelve his presidential ambitions and support either of them.
