[Photo|African Arguments]The Aga Khan University GSMC in partnership with the Media Council of Kenya is conducting a survey to determine level of technology use and uptake among journalists, challenges and opportunities associated with the use and how it has affected their work. The Media Council of Kenya says the research will be used to identify technology training needs among Journalists. "Your participation and input will be extremely helpful. This short survey allows you to share your experiences with the technology you use in your day to day activities and work as a Journalist."In line with this, the council has partnered with Ipsos Limited, a market research company, to collect feedback on their behalf. MCK has informed journalists that a representative from Ipsos will contact them through email or telephone to request for their participation. "We therefore request you to cooperate with the research partner to actualize the process," the Council asked members of the press, Wednesday."Please be assured that your contact details and the information obtained through the survey will be kept strictly confidential and will be used solely for this research."
