Ongwae said media should help in informing Kenyans the importance of voter registration.
“We are calling the media to help us in informing Kenyans to register as voters. It is sad that some Journalists want to be paid," he said.
“We can only facilitate as leaders but the notion of waiting to be paid to execute your role is uncalled for," he added.
Ongwae who was addressing reporters on Thursday has been holding voter registration campaigns across Kisii County in the past three weeks.
