A 28-year-old medical practitioner was today arraigned in Kisii law courts for allegedly defiling a seven-year-old girl at Nyankongo village in Kisii town.
The accused, an orthopedic, appeared before principal magistrate Sympy Makila, and was charged with defiling the minor on Sunday, January 21, 2018.
It is alleged that the accused, committed the offense while the minor was playing with others and threatened her of dire consequences if she ever told anybody what had happened.
The suspect pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released on a Sh200,000 and a similar surety.
The case will be mentioned on February 6, 2018.
