Peter Nyakweba was charged on 21/1/2018 at Nyankongo Village for intentionally and unlawfully defiled a minor at their home.
In the first account, the accused was charged with rape contrary to a section of the sexual offenses act.
In the second account the accused caused an indecent act to the minor contrary to the sexual offense act.
The parent of the minor reported the matter at Kisii police station where the police arrested the doctor.
The minor was rushed to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for medical attention.
However, Mr Nyakweba pleaded not guilty before principal Magistrate Symphy Makila. He was released on a Sh200,000 bond with one surety.
