Medical students from institutions across the country on Thursday poured to the streets in solidarity with doctors who are currently striking.
According to the students, their classes have stalled due to the strike because some of the doctors are their tutors in various institutions offering the course.
The students marched to Ministry of Health headquarters in a bid to pile pressure on the government to negotiate with the striking doctors for a lasting solution.
The protests come at a time when the medics are in talks with the government to find a solution to the strike that is almost entering into the second month.
The court had already declared the strike illegal although officials from the unions have come out to defy the order.
