They say "a friend in need is a friend indeed." In real life situations, you must have met a different kind of peoples and these people differ in their behaviors. A friend, when you are in need, is someone who is there for you, ready to act, to assist you.
But some friends are just there with some intentions after they are done they disappear completely in your life. You will be only seeing them physically. You will only realize later that they are not true friends when you land in a trouble.
Below are three kinds of friends that you will or might have met them in you life.
"Leaf friends". According to my observation, some friends come into your life and they are like leaves on a tree. They are only there for a season. You can't depend on them because they are weak and only available to give you shade. Likes leaves they are there to take what they need and as soon they are done in taking what they want, they are gone. You can't be angry at them.
The second kind of friends are "branch friends". In this instance, friends come into your life and they are like branches on a tree. They are stronger than leaves but you will have to be cautious with them. They will stick around through your life and most probably you might lose them.
Most time they break away when in tough situations. Although they are stronger than leaves. You have to test them out before asking for help from them. The probability of them assisting you is minimal, they will always also have petty excuses and finally shun you. Just like a branch of a tree breaks in tough sasons, dry season. They break and fall off.
The final type of friends are "root friends". If you have find friends in your life who are like the roots of tree then you have found something special. like the roots of a tree, they are hard to find because they are rare to be seen. Their job is to hold you up and help not only through tough situations but also assist you in living a strong and healthy life. If you excell in life, they will be happy for you. Just like the roots of a tree, their job is to nourish, feed and water the tree.
To conclude, just as a tree has many limbs and leaves but few roots, this is a reflects to our lives. How many leaves, branches and roots do you have? What are you in other people's lives?
