Samuel Muhia 23, is a coffin maker in Kisii town, Kisii County.
He says that he has been in the industry for five years now and he is very passionate about his job.
Mr Muhia who was born in Nakuru County in a family of two, dropped out of primary school after his parents divorced, a situation that forced him to travel from Kiambu to Kisii.
His passion and determination to change his life made him join the carpentry industry where he was coached by a volunteer.
In 2013, he bought a hammer, hand saw, and tape measure and started his own workshop.
Mr Muhia said he makes Sh5,000 per week when business is low.
He sells his caskets at an average of Sh10,000 depending on the design.

"One casket cost Sh10,000 depending on what the customers want. At times it goes up to Sh 20,000 but on rare occasions," Muhia said.
During the weekdays, Mr Muhia spends his better part of the day in his workshops. He runs his business from 8 am to 5 pm.
Apart from his hustle, Mr Muhia is an award-winning skater in the region.
"Passions and determination keep me going. I love my job. It's my hustle," Muhia said.
