Martin Tony Waikwa Olsson who plays for Swansea city in England will in this year's World cup representing Sweden national team after making it to the final 23-man squad.

Martin Olsson was born on 17 May 1988 in Gävle, Sweden to a Swedish father and a Kenyan mother.

He has a twin brother, Marcus Olsson who is also a footballer and currently plays for Derby County in England's second tier of football.

He made his first senior national team debut on June 27, 2010, against Bosnia and Herzegovina as a substitute in the 66th minutes and two minutes later he scored his first goal before adding another one in the 82nd minute after fine work from his teammate, Marcus Berg.

He made his first senior national team start on 6 September 2011 against San Marino in a match that he went on to score Sweden's third goal after being set up by Sweden's great, Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

In May 2012, Olsson made into 23-man squad to represent Sweden at UEFA Euro 2012 co-hosted by Poland and Ukraine and was assigned with number 5 shirt which he has since maintained to date.

The 30-year old star will become the second Kenyan player to play in the world cup after Belgium's Divock Origi thanks to Kenya's dual citizenship.
