Anthony Kimani, a 21-year-old resident of Kiambu town is a form two dropout young ambitious man who makes sh3,000 a day in egg selling.
During an interview over the weekend, Kiamani said that he left school in form two due to lack of fees and the only way to survive was to start a business.
"My parents owned nothing, and I was usually sent home to bring fees which it was impossible to get," said Kimani.
"I decided to peacefully leave the school in form two though I was heartbroken, business was my solution," he added.
He began hawking eggs in early 2016 after two years of school dropping.
He said he started with two crates of eggs and sold all of them making a good profit at the start of his business.
He was motivated and increased the number to ten crates which responded positively.
"I then slowly increased the number of crates, I sold ten crates a day and by two months time I had increased to fifteen crates a day," Kimani said.
He began selling eggs to his neighbors but as the market grew he ventured all of Kiambu town.
"Since the beginning of this year, I expanded my business to a larger part of Kiambu town and am selling a close to twenty crates a day totaling a profit of sh3,000 daily," he said.
He revealed that he mostly supplies the eggs to numerous hotels in the town thus making that huge money daily.
"Apart from hawking, many hotels are under my supply throughout the town, that's why I make this huge profit on a daily basis," said Kimani.
He advised his jobless peers to take the initiative and employ themselves.
"Change starts with you, employ yourself and don't sit and wait for somebody to employ you," he said.
