Senate majority leader, Elgeiyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has asked President Uhuru Kenyatta to extend an arm and meet NASA co-principals the same way he met NASA chief, Raila Odinga.
Murkomen who was speaking at St. Patricks Iten on Friday said that meeting the three leaders would go along way in ensuring that the country speaks in one voice.
“I am asking President Kenyatta to invite Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang’ula the same way he invited and held talks with Nasa leader Raila Odinga so that we can all speak in one voice,” Murkomen said.
Murkomen, who is an alumnus of the institution also said that the needs of the former Premier will be catered for by the Jubilee administration after he accepted to work with the Government.
“President Kenyatta is ready and willing to cater for the needs of Mr Odinga now that the Nasa leader has accepted to work with the government for the development of this country,” he said.
President Kenyatta and Mr Odinga last week met at Harambee house in a rare show of unity from the two leaders in a move aimed to unite a divided country.
