The Champions League final yesterday in which Real Madrid won three goals to one against Liverpool has made Boniface Wachira a Kiambu known gambler to win mouth-watering Sh50,000.
Wachira revealed that he is a diehard Real Madrid fan and it was a good chance for him to make good money.
"Apart from being a Manchester United fan, am also a diehard supporter of Real Madrid and yesterday was my big day," he said.
Wachira said he placed the bet with Sh10,000 he sold the cow with it.
"I was so broke yesterday and the only way to get money was selling my only cow and place Real Madrid to win," Wachira said.
"My brother who is a businessman bought the cow with Sh10,000 of which I deposited in my Sportpesa account and I placed the bet when the odds were five for Half Time Full Time category," said Wachira.
The man later went to a video show hall near his residence in Kiambu town where he followed keenly the match which was played overnight.
After the first half of the game was goalless, Wachira said he went to sleep because he had felt he might lose the bet.
He continued saying he was amazed to find a congratulatory message in his 'mulika' phone on Sunday morning.
"I found a message that I had won a whooping Sh50,000 and I later confirmed Real Madrid won in the second half," Wachira said.
Wachira further said he is planning a lot with the money he won.
"Am planning to buy two cows, a smartphone and pay school fees for my child who was sent recently home to collect fees," he said.
