Garissa Town MP Aden Duale and Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru are up for a legal battle to defend their seats after their competitors Mr Farah Maalim and Martha Karua respectively filed an election petition.

Karua and Maalim have filed their petition with the High Court on Tuesday which is the deadline date set for any disgruntled politician who wants contest an election.

Former Meru governor Peter Munya also said that he plans to contest Kiraitu Murung'i victory at the High Court.

The Milimani law court was a behave of activity on Tuesday as politicians came in with bundles of evidence supporting their claims that they were rigged out.
