However, as a result of a similar number of more established players in the field, who have as a result gone ahead to dominate the industry, most of these underground artists have found themselves grappling to make their names known.

Here are some of the talented but underrated rappers whose talent is promising to elevate the Nakuru rap industry;

1. Phyzzo

Born Peter Inziano, Phyzzo is a hardcore rapper hailing from the Nothern end of Nakuru.

He is the brain behind the lyrical 'Alcoholic' and 'Hustle ni lazima' hits which are doing very well in Nakuru clubs and entertainment joints.

He is also a producer at  Phyzzo Records and the founder of the Phyzzo Music Empire (PME) label.

2. Xonyi Spiky

The young rapper from Njoro could one day fly both the Nakuru and Kenyan flag in the global rap industry.

The Communication student at one of Nakuru's top universities is known for his 'Cool it back' mega track and, just like most of the other rappers of his level, is yet to make it to the mainstream.

3. Izzy Blacko

Another dangerous spitter and experienced rap-battle guru from Nakuru's Shabab area, a hood he has nicknamed 'Dirty Shabby'.

Also known for his remarkable rapping speed, the 'No Doubt' hit maker is one of the talents Nakuru needs to equal the high-flying Nairobi rap industry.
