Opposition chief Raila Odinga's daughter, Rosemary Odinga has revealed how she mints millions of shillings by selling snails.
Speaking in an interview on NTV on Sunday, Rosemary explained how she discovered how lucrative rearing and selling snails is after her visit to West Africa.
"Snails are nurtured, bred and eaten. I chose snail farming as my way of earning a living because I found them fascinating. They are more lucrative than hawking chicken," she told NTV.
"This is how I earn my living from. It seems weird but it's a lucrative business that pays."
Rosemary is arguably the only snail farmer in Kenya and she says she has not looked back since starting the venture eight years ago.
The lady has thrown herself into the political scenes in recent times, with reports that she is being groomed for a political seat in 2017.
Speculation going round has indicated she will contest for the Kibra Parliamentary seat.
The 39-years-old is currently the executive director of Raila Odinga Centre, a Foundation that largely offers education scholarships for the needy.
