Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga last week met President Uhuru Kenyatta at Harambee house, Nairobi to discuss various issues affecting the country.
The meeting elicited a lot of reactions with a section of opposition leaders claiming that they were not consulted.
The meeting was a well kept secret with only the inner circle being informed and taking part in it.
Minority Chief Whip in the National Assembly Junet Mohammed was among the few leaders who accompanied Odinga to the meeting.
The vocal MP was first elected to Parliament in 2013 on an Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) ticket but has since grown to be one of Raila's close ally.
The Suna East MP was born in Mandera but grew up in Migori county.
He attended Migori primary school before joining Lenana school in Nairobi for his secondary school education.
He is an alumni of the University of Nairobi with a Bachelors Degree in Business administration.
