Moi university students held their elections on Friday last to elect their leaders.
It went on peacefully though before the elections, it was somehow chaotic.
The results were announced officially on Saturday morning.
Surprises were many. But what caught the eyes of the majority was the victory of one Festus Koech.
He is the new assistant secretary general. He is barely 18 years, his height is less than one metre. He is a second-year student from the school of Arts and Social Sciences.
Mr Koech beat 5 contestants to clitch the post. He says he was motivated to vie by his passion to serve his comrades.
"My age height did not hinder me from volunteering to serve comrades. I love to serve my people because it is God's calling to His people." the jovial director said.
